Naaru Doreki

Naaru Doreki is an unofficial character created for Furria. They are the current head of the R&D department of Aeros Airlines, keeping track of its actions and guiding it as commanded by the higher-ups of the company.

Naaru is one of the humans that went through antecedence representing the user nulldork.

Naaru is the current leader of the Aeros Airlines research and development department, meticulously keeping track of every action taken by the group and functioning as its representative during company meetings. Naaru often uses their position in order to simply benefit themselves, directing company resources towards whatever goal they want to accomplish at any given moment. While doing so may aid other people, it is almost never a priority.

Naaru takes residence in Airship Skyscanner, a large airship designed for collecting information and serving as a large testing ground, provided by the Aeros company. Their colleagues live on the airship with them, using it as a mobile apartment of sorts.

They can sometimes be seen aimlessly wandering around the continent of Uphaval by themselves, taken in by the strange properties of its leyskies.

A somewhat nihilistic and unruly Typyl, at first glance, Naaru appears to only care for themselves. They carry a stubborn and judgmental attitude, being quick to dismiss anything they deem unnecessary or irrelevant, and maintain a sort of “authority” on any matter at hand.

In contrast, however, Naaru is almost obsessively passionate about nearly anything they may be interested in, their voice raising to match their apparent excitement. When in such a good mood, they act carefree and whimsical to a nigh-cartoonish degree, sometimes at the expense of others.

Naaru has a noteworthy obsession with the unique features of Fiagia, often fascinated by the physics of the world's leyskies, leycores, and leylines. They also show an interest in the interactions between aspects, sometimes spending a few hours experimenting within their airship.

Upon their arrival in Fiagia, Naaru was left utterly speechless. Not in their wildest imagination had they even conceived the thought of a second world; a world that conformed to the rules of fantasy more so than reality. The now-Typyl had begun calling the islands of Uphaval their home, until a certain figure had started an independent business based in the continent.

As Aeros Airlines had begun to expand its sphere of influence and establish itself as a prominent business, the notion of an in-house research and development department started to become a popular idea among staff members. The newly-recruited Naaru decided to capitalize on this idea, and propose a plan for building the foundations of the department, eventually seeing through to the complete development of the group and becoming its lead director.

Prior to undergoing antecedence, Naaru was not a very memorable person, and for good reason. They were unable to truly do anything that could even begin to leave a lasting impact, as they were limited by their sickly condition. As a result, Naaru had picked up some bad habits, and though most had faded away by the time they arrived in the Crystal Room, some of these habits still surface in mundane areas during the daily activities. They tend to not go into detail regarding their previous life, dismissing it as being “irrelevant,” alongside the details of their death.

During combat, Naaru serves two roles. Firstly, they aim to control the movements of their enemies through the sheer power of their weapon, generally situated in a single position and forcing a bottleneck on the enemy’s side. Secondly, they empower nearby allies with a peculiar “aura,” sometimes allowing them to perform extraordinary tasks without much effort.

The Portable Siege Howitzer is a Launcher-type weapon that is able to fire an explosive shell through a rifled barrel. These projectiles are released with enough force for them to be able to take down barricades in a few shots, the explosion of the shell furthering its destructive potential.

A single high-explosive shell is stored in the back of the weapon, which Naaru uses as a base to create an indefinite number of duplicates with the use of :duplico: Duplico and :imitio: Imitio sorcia. The duplicated shells deteriorate rapidly, which would make it a surprisingly environmentally friendly projectile if it ever failed to explode.

Through the use of :duplico: Duplico, :certus: Certus and :tueor: Tueor sorcia, Naaru is able to effectively double a single target's strength and defense until either the warded or the warder become too exhausted to continue.

While activating this ability requires some amount of force from Naaru, the ward is designed to feed off of its target's force, forming a sort of temporary symbiotic relationship. This allows for the aura to be used as an offensive tool, effectively draining an individual's force by stacking an absurd amount of wards on them.
