Naaru Doreki

Naaru Doreki is an unofficial character created for Furria. They are the current head of the R&D department of Aeros Airlines.

Naaru is one of the humans that went through antecedence representing the user nulldork.

Naaru is the current leader of the Aeros Airlines research and development department, keeping track of every action taken by the group and functioning as its representative during company meetings.

Naaru often uses their position only to benefit themselves, directing company resources towards whatever goal they want to accomplish at any given moment.

Naaru takes residence in Airship Skyscanner, a large airship designed for collecting information and serving as a large testing ground, provided by the Aeros company. Their colleagues live on the airship with them, using it as a mobile apartment of sorts. They can sometimes be seen aimlessly wandering around the continent of Uphaval by themselves, taken in by the strange properties of its leyskies.

A somewhat nihilistic and unruly Typyl, Naaru tends to act in a chaotic, yet simultaneously methodical fashion. They neglect almost all notions of morality and ethics, claiming that they would rather spend their life achieving their personal goals instead of worrying about what others think of their actions.

Due to this, most people would mark Naaru as being rather evil, and although they generally care not for the thoughts and well-being of the people around them, they, at the very least, have a natural instinct to protect and care for those who accept them for who they are, even willing to go as far as to sacrifice their own safety in order to protect the people they admire.

Naaru has a noteworthy obsession with the unique features of Fiagia, often fascinated by the physics of the world's leyskies, leycores, and leylines. They also show an interest in the interactions between aspects, sometimes spending a few hours experimenting within their airship.

During combat, Naaru serves two roles. Firstly, they aim to control the movements of their enemies through the sheer power of their weapon, generally situated in a single position and forcing a bottleneck on the enemy’s side. Secondly, they empower nearby allies with a peculiar “shield,” though it does not actually serve as a barrier.

The Handheld Siege Howitzer is a Launcher-type weapon that fires an explosive shell through a rifled barrel with enough force to be able to break down walls in just a few shots. In the attempt to make the weapon able to be carried by personnel, some sacrifices had to be made to its design in order to lighten the howitzer’s body, namely thinning the outer shell.

A single high-explosive shell is stored in the back of the weapon, which Naaru uses as a base to create an indefinite number of duplicates with the use of :duplico: Duplico and :imitio: Imitio sorcia. The duplicated shells deteriorate rapidly, which would make it a surprisingly environmentally friendly projectile, were it not to explode upon contact.

Through the use of :duplico: Duplico, :certus: Certus and :tueor: Tueor sorcia, Naaru is able to functionally double one single stat of a single target per use of this skill. Additionally, any healing or other beneficial effect bestowed upon the affected individual will create a small area around that person, where others within the area gain the same benefits at a diminished quality.

While Naaru is able to stack an indefinite amount of wards on any number of targets, each ward constantly drains the user’s force for as long as it is active based on the value of the doubled stat, preventing Naaru from simply putting an absurd amount of auras on one single person in order to supercharge them.
