Typyl Tropes Discord / Rules
Here are the rules for the Typyl Tropes Discord server:
01. Don't skim the rules, that's just rude!
02. Stay nice to each other~! We're all equals here
03. Keep swearing to a minimal. We do have young people here.
04. Link sources/credit them!!
(applies to memes and art, unless it's on Discord, link the image URL)
05. Remember to catch yourselves if you're talking about a topic in the wrong room.
(We'll try to remind you if we caught you though!)
06. You are free to change your display name in the server! Make sure it's appropriate and, don't remove the flag!

07. We'll tell you if you did a mistake. We may remove messages if it's something you're not supposed to show.
08. Please avoid politics. That would be appreciated.
09. No drama!
10. Don't screw up.
We would like to gather people to translate the rules! Please contact Kaiera in the server to do so.
Changing Discord Nicknames
As soon as you enter the discord server proper, your display name will be changed on the server. This will stay even if you decide to globally change your default display name on Discord.
It is recommended that you change your nickname before you enter the server!
In Discord, your name in the server will normally show like this:
For Windows Users
β’π¨π¦ 'pril
For Android and other devices
β’π¨π¦ 'pril
The ones on the left is the corresponding βflagβ.
If you wish to change your display name, right click on your name in the server then select βChange Nicknameβ.
- You can change your nickname to whatever you like! (As long as it's in good taste, no offensive names.)
- You can change your corresponding flag representative to where you are.
- Only country flags are accepted.
- If you don't want to show your country, simply use
π½π½. - Sub-country flags like Scotland/GB-SCT (π΄σ §σ ’σ ³σ £σ ΄σ Ώ) are also not accepted, as it does not work on Windows devices.
- Sadly, alternative flags like the pride flag (π³οΈβπ) or the pirate flag (π΄ββ οΈ) are not viable as a corresponding flag.
- However, you could do something like this:
π¨π¦π³οΈβπ 'pril
- Make sure you don't remove the corresponding flag.
- You'd be kicked out to the entrance if you fail to do these things. You may be notified if we notice.
