Bento is one of the original participants that underwent Antecedence through an incident relating to the Hidden Anthropomorphic Compound project, unwillingly contributing to the Saviand Anomaly.

As a Human

Bento was always behind in studies and catching up, but is somehow able to maintain being a star student due to his nature. He can't seem to cope with class because the system put in place is not for him. Instead, he takes time studying at home at his own pace so he can understand the concepts and more practical aspects of them.

He also cooks meals on his own for friends who don't have much of a lunch so they always have a good time.

As a Typyl

Bento's role in the HAC is mostly associated with resource management. He makes sure that everything is in stock and plans ahead for what needs to be restocked. Though slow and taking his own time into doing this, he is sure to do it very well while reminding others too. In time, he learns how to make use of these resources more efficiently, benefiting everyone. He assists Chef Crooke as well with cooking while learning from him in order to lighten the load with feeding the rest of the Presav, and does very well.

Bento was faced with a choice when given the incentives of the HAC: Participating in it in exchange for graduating afterwards, or staying to hang out more with what he loves. This gave him two choices to ponder on for very long, with both sides being heavy choices.

When confronted by his family, they asked why he wants to graduate immediately and he responded with how he feels with the current state of the school system. His family really does want to let him go to another school but can't due to the expenses needed.

In turn his parents encourage Bento to enter the HAC, thinking of it as a year-long field trip break from school.
