Typyl

The Typyl (pronounciation: type-ill/typ-pill; タイピル, Taipiru) are a race of being in Furria found all over Fiagia and its moons. They are intelligent creatures with bodies similar to Earth's creatures, mostly containing human-like attributes and has the ability to create and manipulate Sorcia.

The Typyl are the main species that comprises most of the characters found in the series.
For community purposes, if one would make an original character based on a furry characters, they are Typyl by default.

The plural for “Typyl” is also “Typyl”.

The Typyl are an open species for Furria. Because of this, you can make your own character. To check out what makes up a character, check out the Typyl Guide.

Biology

The Typyl are creatures that takes the form similar to a human being, having two eyes, a mouth, two arms and mostly having two legs. Typyl are smaller compared to humans. The average height for a Typyl is that only 75% of the average height of a female human being1), which is 3'10” or 118.05 cm in height. Despite this, females tend to be much shorter than average.

For more information, check the detailed page of the Typyl listed below.

Adaptability

In addition to their human-like traits, they are able to adapt a mixture of qualities and traits from different species from several sources. These include:

Despite this, the species given must be typyl-compatible fist before a Typyl can take form of their traits. When a Typyl takes form of their selected species, they are assigned to have a typ-type and a typ-fam which is explained in the section below.

Concerning body types and structure, the Typyl body doesn't have to adhere and match the body type of their Typ-type. For example: A bear-type can have a body that of a type cat-type. Color pigments are also not limited to their Typ-type and are available to have a color of their choosing.

Lifespan and Reproduction

The average lifespan for a Typyl ranges from 80 to 120 years. From the age of 0, the typyl's body will start to grow until the age of 30, reaching childhood at the age of 5 and is recognized as matured adults at the age of young adult age of 18, though this can continue until their intelligence matures at the age of 25. Once reaching the age of 30, their bodies will start to deteriorate starting at the age of 50.

Typyl are capable of doing reproduction. There is only a 20% chance that a Typyl can reproduce when attempting reproduction, hence the low population. It is also extremely rare to produce an unstable child with a disability due to the Typyl's nature. At most, Typyl has the average of bearing only 2 offspring.

Revival and Downstate

A Typyl cannot be killed instantly compared to other creatures found on Earth or Fiagia. When a Typyl is incapacitated, they will enter a downstate.

Downstate

Main Article: Downstate

Downstate is the state of a being when a creature is incapacitated or killed and is considered fainted. For Typyl, downstate is determined when their body and the clothes and accessories that they wear starts to turn completely white, similar to petrification. Their body is also ceases to act and is numbed during this state, making them unable to move.

From this state, a Typyl can choose to revive through four different possibilities:

  1. Through the use of an item capable to recover a Typyl from downstate
  2. Through the use of Sorcia that can recover a Typyl from downstate
  3. Allowing themselves to dissipate and revive to the nearest or last used Restoria at full capacity
  4. Staying in downstate for at least an hour before reviving normally, with their life force recovered

When a Typyl's body is found in situations they cannot be revived from downstate, they are forced to use a Restoria. An example of this is when a Typyl is impaled in downstate and not have their bodies removed from it while they are in downstate.

Though a Typyl can revive straight away, not all possibilities will result of the typyl completely recovering their life force. If a typyl goes through downstate multiple times in a short span of time, they can achieve death.

Death

It is possible for a Typyl to die from age, disease, exhaustion, or from specific extreme circumstances or objects that can disrupt the process of revival. Exhaustion can occur when a Typyl decides to revive frequently in succession without taking any breaks and not allowing to restore their energy and life force.

The possibility of death can be denoted if their bodies contain major and permanent damages, bleeding actual blood instead of a Typyl's life force, which is a dusty white blood-like material dissipating from their bodies. When that happens, a Typyl can fully recover in the minimum of a month without risking their lives and expending more of their life force.

Composition

A Typyl's composition can be distinguished by their composition of their body. Their composition can be determined by several parts of their body. Composition is split between three different factors: the number of fingers, toes and the composure of their legs.

The composition of a Typyl can be easily written in this format: {fingers|toes|legs} or {fingers|L} if their leg composition is determined as Lesth.

Finger/Toe Composition

The composition for a Typyl's amount of fingers and toes is split into five different kinds.
Typyl are commonly known to have at least three to five digits with less than three being more rare.

The number of digits how each digit is named are determined by the following:

  1. 1 Isth: Pointer
  2. 2 Nilm: Pointer & Thumb
  3. 3 Triq: Pointer, Ring & Thumb
  4. 4 Quant: Pointer, Ring, Pinky & Thumb
  5. 5 Fivs: Pointer, Ring, Middle, Pinky & Thumb

Leg Composition

The composition for the Typyl's leg is also split into five different types. Each leg composition its benefits and disadvantages depending on what leg composition the Typyl has.

The kind of legs a Typyl has is determined by the following:

  1. H Humno: The first of the most common composition featuring Plantigrade leggings. It is more weight-bearing and stable compared to the Digitri.
  2. D Digitri: The second of the most common composition featuring Digitigrade leggings. The Digitri has the advantage of being faster and more versatile against the Humno.
  3. T Tethl: Tethl have weak-composed or free-flowing legs that can be more versatile underwater. Outside of water, they can lightly walk with minimal energy as if they have low gravity.
  4. S Stybb: The Stybb are similar to the Digitri but have short legs in place that might look they have stubby legs instead.
  5. L Lesth: This means that they don't have legs at all and has the capability to float without much expense from their energy.

Typing

Due to the Typyl's composition, Typyl can adapt traits and attributes depending on their Typ-type and Typ-fam.

Typ-type

Typ-type (plural: typ-types; prounced: tip-tipe) or wholesomely known as Typyl Type is the classification of the Typyl based on what qualities and attributes a Typyl can have from the creatures they take form of. If one has more noticeable attributes from multiple species, the Typyl can be considered as a Hybrid instead.

There's a naming scheme for each Typ-type: {species}-type
For a list of different Typ-types, please refer to the Typing portion of the Typyl Guide.

Hybrids

When a Typyl has two or more noticeable distinct Typ-types, this typyl is considered to be a Typyl Hybrid, also known as a Hy-type (plural: hy-typ; pronounced: hi-type) in short.

When classifying a naming scheme for the Hy-type, the first two distinct types are used in the name, first being the most dominant type followed by the next most dominant type coming after.
This results in the Hy-type's naming scheme: {primary}-{secondary} Hy

Typ-fam

Typyl Family, or in short words: Typ-fam (plural: typ-fam; pronounced:tip-fam) is a classification for a group of Typ-types that resemble similarities and functions similar to Biological Families. If the Typyl is considered to be a Hybrid, the most dominant type's Typ-fam of the Typyl is considered.

Like Typ-type, there is a similar naming scheme for Typ-fam: {family}-fam
For a list of different Typ-fam, please refer to the Typing portion of the Typyl Guide.

Aspect Nature

Other than composition, the Typyl are also known to adapt to aspects found in their environment, allowing to hone these aspects when applying the use or creation of sorcia through force. This can be obtained through hereditary traits, through adaptation of aspects found around their environment or through the alteration of the physical body through the process of Type Casting. Because of this Typyl are known to be powerful creatures, and a valuable source of energy. This makes them a prime target for hostile creatures as they are flowing with aspects.

Each Typyl individual has the ability to adapt up to a limit of three different aspects, commonly adapting three while only having one is very rare. As such, these are assigned as their primary, secondary and tertiary aspects. If an individual is to have no aspects assigned to them, they are considered to have Medius as their primary aspect and have no secondary or tertiary aspect.

Overall, the global classification of a Typyl's aspects as a species is primarily classified as Indivisus for their primary aspect and Inane set as their secondary aspect. However, even if they have this global classification, this does not affect a Typyl individual's strengths and weaknesses due to their individual affiliation with different aspects.

Aura Color

When a Typyl is in the process of using Sorcia, the Typyl will emit an ominous glow depending on the Sorcia cast colored to their preference of a set Aura Color. This color can be adjusted to an individual's liking whenever they want.

If they choose to use any other color than their preferred aura color, their force cost of casting each Sorcia can possibly increase depending on the Sorcia's effects. Should they choose to shift to another aura color, they can do so by normally using its color and it can simply take up to a week depending how much they use that aura color.

Type-casting

Type-casting, also known as type alteration is a powerful form of sorcia that allows a Typyl individual to permanently or temporarily change their physical shape and their associated aspects. This allows them to change the following:

According to the limits of this sorcia, changing weight is not an option as it will be relative to their associated Typ-type and height. Any other form of alteration using this sorcia is not considered and/or prohibited. This is to keep the identity of the individual typyl.

When this sorcia is cast on a Typyl individual, this individual will have to remain in Stasis during their transition, which the period of them staying in stasis can vary between one day to a week depending on how much changes they have to make to the individual's body.

It is not advisable for Typyl individuals aged 7 or less to partake in type-casting as their bodies are still not stable in that period of time in their life.

Arcitory and Arcpouches

The Typyl has a form of sorcia that can store items without the use of objects. This is through the use of an Arcitory and is accessible through the use of Sorcia or through the use of Arcpouches.

Arcitory

Magic Storage, also known as a Arcitory is a kind of sorcia that allows a Typyl to hold items inside their bodies acting as storage similar to an Arcspace and allows to convert any item to lightweight particles inside the user's body.

The number of items a Typyl individual can hold is dependent the individual's total volume. (the amount of space the typyl physically takes instead of width and height) The individual will also have to bear the weight of each item they stored in their arcitory as each item's weight affect the individual. Though, the items themselves when stored in magic storage is 1/8th of the item's original weight. Should they have to much weight, the Typyl will find themselves unable to move and will require another Typyl to access their magic storage and take a number of items out so they can move again.

For weapons and small consumable items, a Typyl individual can summon and dismiss their weapons to and from their arcitory anytime using a minimal amount of force once the item is inside of their own arcitory. They would only have to do this once. However for heavy weapons, they cannot dismiss their weapons once summoned and have to manually store them into their arcitory again.

Arcpouch

To access an individual's arcitory, they can use a magic pocket known as an Arcpouch, which are light storage items that can access the user's arcitory when worn. However, they can only store and retrieve items from their arcitory depending on the size of the pocket of the arcpouch itself. This is advantageous for merchants and those who need an abundance of physical ammo as they would not have to require themselves to carry a cart or magazine boxes.

The arcpouch can also have its own arcitory as well depending on its function and will work similar to a Typyl's arcitory. However, this does not allow a typyl individual to summon an item from an arcpouch's storage. The typyl can choose where items can be stored in the arcpouch's arcitory or the individual's arcitory if the arpouch has its own arcitory. It should be notable arcpouches with its own arcitory can be considered more expensive when bought.

Alternatively, they can temporarily summon a magic pocket through the use of Sorcia. Though, this will cost force and will depending on the size of the magic pocket itself. The individual will also have to take time summoning the magic pocket, which is not advisable to use when the individual is in battle.
