This blog is run by the faculty of Kalos Miare College High. Feel free if there is anything you want to ask or show.
— ask-pokeprofs
Ask PokéProfs is a Pokémon Tumblr Ask Blog written, moderated and illustrated by fiaKaiera created in originally as an April Fools' Day joke and officially started in May 25, 2015.
Taking place starting at 2007, this blog follows the lives and stories inside and outside of school duties of a cast of different school faculty members and students of Kalos Miare College High.
The original run of the blog has ended with its last post in October 30, 2016. Ever since, the blog stopped updating until June 25, 2017, where re-experience Ask PokéProfs started, overwriting the original blog. All posts from before it was set to private, making it inaccessible through normal means.
The main setting for ask-pokeprofs is in Kalos Miare College High, based in Lumiose City inside the Kalos region and its surrounding areas. The setting represents Montréal, Canada in real life. However, the setting is not really accurate to be fully represented as Montreal due to the setting being inside the world of Pokémon.
Due to the inhabitants of the world being Pokémon instead of humans, the technology found in the blog is actually a bit further advanced than modern times thanks to all the Pokémon having different properties that can possibly progress them further but is still found in modern times as it still maintains a lot of factors of it.
Kalos Miare College High is a special out-of-context high school that follows the K-12 format, spanning grades 7 to 12.
Despite being a high school, it does not follow normal educational standards and follows more of a free-formed type of education. Rather than the location being a standard high school, the college high looks more like a shopping mall.
From what its known from the moderator, the college high contains normal classrooms, three differently styled debate rooms, a history room, a science lab, a gym, a computer laboratory and a central hall located on the upper floors of the college high. At the bottom floors, the college high is filled with different shopping facilities and institutions for a shopping mall. At the peak of the college high, the dean's office is located.
Outside of the college high, there contains a fountain, a tennis court, an athletic ring, and two open space battle areas for Pokémon Battles. In the basement, additional Pokémon battle areas are located and can actually be swapped in and out with those of the open space battle areas.
Around the college high are dormitories, living quarters and a park reserved for the students of Kalos Miare, also containing common facilities for different clubs, areas for recreation and athletics are placed as well. The outer boundaries are walled off, to prevent the students from leaving the area unless at open gate times.
The blog is specifically as Kalos Miare's blog program, that gives different updates on different students and faculty who participate in it, answering questions from people around the world. All of the mini-sodes are an exception of this program, as it only shows to tell a story, with the exception of Today's Weather, which shows the current weather instead, which may also reflect inside the blog's universe.
The blog started as a cruel April Fools' Plot in 2015 at first and then went out to be a fully developed blog a month after, complete with characters and setting. The blog back then had a frame of the mod's original blog saying the visitor has been tricked and may turn into an actual blog.
The original post from the blog is found here with the return link already not working. The return links to a video named "Never Gonna Give You Up by Rick Astley", making it a RickRoll.
Before May 25, 2015, Pixyl's reference page is actually replaced with a countdown to the publishing time of the first post of the blog, marking the blog officially starting and all of the faculty available for asks, save for five characters: except for Lorelei, Nessard, Claire, Amelia, and June. Apparently, Mocha was the only student that was available at that time. The countdown page is now stuck at 0:00:00:00 and most likely won't be used again.
From the whole run in the original session of ask-pokeprofs, there are a total of 31 characters that can be found in the blog. There was supposed to be 37 characters but 6 of them were never introduced. As such they will be not listed here.
As of September 16, 2016, there are currently 14 characters that are part of the blog program, including the dean herself. These character are sorted by their reveal, and by their major afterwards. Three faculty members were never introduced, which makes them 17 in actual.

Rather than going with one over-arching story, Ask PokéProfs goes through different stories at the same time, calling them “Mini-sodes”. The term is shortened to “Ms” for tagging.
A Pokémon just suddenly popped out at thin air in the middle of the campus on a rainy foggy night. The principal decides to take the Pokémon in out of kindness. This shares the same tag of the first mini-sode. This links from Ch*1: Sc*0 in Ask Patient Pachirisu.

Main Article: Mocha Code
Mocha Code is the term coined by Sunny from the mod's unknown lettering set. The code consists of 36 characters that subsititutes the normal roman alphabet with the appropriate symbols for each letter or digit. The Mocha Code is a highly-modified version of the Pigpen Code. (sometimes called as the Freemason's or Rosicrician cipher)
The mocha code is the base for Project Fia's Figylphs, acting as first pass of the character set.
The author of the blog has an image reference for those who are curious and only Sunnyverse blogs can use if needed. The author of the blog also has his own font to use for personal purposes.
