Sunnyverse
Sunnyverse is a collection of Tumblr Pokémon Ask Blogs that have their setting and characters constantly definied specifically in a world where humans are replaced with standing and walking anthropomorphic versions of Pokémon.
Sunnyverse is not a group, but is a collection of blogs meeting this criteria. Anyone can join or leave it freely. One blog that is not part of Pokémon but is still part of Sunnyverse is Ghost Planet.
Terminology
The name “Sunnyverse” was coined from the user fiaKaiera who was randomly naming stormfullvals(Sunny) and their friends' blogs together than just being “that group of anthro blogs” for himself in August 2015. The name was spread around as soon as Sunny noticed and tells their fellow moderators about it, making it official.
It was named Sunnyverse because of the large amounts of Tumblr Ask Blogs that Sunny has dedicated to the same universe.
Defining a Sunnyverse Blog
An ask blog does not have to be recognized to be a part of Sunnyverse, however as long as certain criteria are met, it could be considered as one without asking to be a part of Sunnyverse.
Some blogs extend it a bit further as to match technology and lifestyles that of Earth (Ask Pokémon Racers), or make places in the Pokémon world match Earth (Ask PhD Pokémon) (i.e: Kalos = Canada). Sometimes, it does not really require to be in such a setting. (Silly PokéMailmans)
In June 2017, the ask blog restriction was lifted and now includes Tumblr blogs for story-focused where asks are not the highlight.
Location Equivalents
One of the Sunnyverse mods, Chokovit suggested what are the possible equivalents of Earth to the Pokémon World. A few of the sunnyverse blogs follow these suggestions but it is not required to be follow these suggestions. Some blogs uses, Earth's locations instead of Pokémon World locations.

Other Observations
- Since January 23, 2018, Dany (torielzard) is no longer a part of Sunnyverse since it was now treated mainly as an art blog after the transfer from new-nidozard to the-diary-of-dany, which is now acts as their art blog, torielzard.
Trivia
- Kaiera's coining the term Sunnyverse was unintentional. He only mentioned it once in an out of character post and calling it that way personally.
- Despite some of the blogs being in different timelines, they still meet age and everything about them intact.
- Ciel Appleberry (Virbank) of Ask PhD Pokémon from 1969 and Mocha Beauchêne of Ask PokéProfs in 2007.
- Orson Welles of Ask WJV Pokénews and Marion Dupont of Ask PhD Pokémon in 1969, of which took it further and turned to be lovers.
- Nivek is the only one that is active in the community and inactive in the blog at the same time as his characters interact with the different blogs instead.
