Rune Fallbrør is a freshman high school student in Castelia Academy in Ask Castelia Academy.

Rune is a young Meloetta with, obviously, a love and talent for music. He is an excellent leader for the choir and loves to lead his classmates on. He tends to be somewhat snobby at times however, and sometimes looks down on those who don’t meet his standard.

Rune is a normal-coloured meloetta. He looks mostly like a normal meloetta, except for the fact that the music notes on his “hair” are grey instead of blue. These music notes change position often, depending on what kind of music Rune has stuck in his head.

Rune is a very serious 'mon. He almost never wears a happy expression on his face, usually looking either bored or annoyed. He is rather quiet as well, but mostly due to a bit of arrogance. He will often refuse to speak to those who don't meet up to his expectations, or are not the top students in his classes. Rune is quite sassy, in a passive-aggressive way, often hurting the feelings of many 'mon he meets. Rune is also very studious, and makes some of the highest grades in his classes. When dedicating his time to studying, he really means it. He hates it when others approach him for help while he is working, and will promptly shoo them off. He hates studying in groups; he does much better individually anyway.

Aside from this condescending nature, Rune can be shown to be surprisingly unselfish and thoughtful to his closest of friends. He is a careful observer and knows his friends well, and treats them when he feels like they deserve it.

Rune is involved in the school choir and the band, in which he plays the flute.
