Mocha Beauchêne (Japanese: モッカ mokka) is a Progressive Student who is the web administrator of Ask PokéProfs at Kalos Miare College High. He is the son of the dean, Lauren Beauchêne and is the Pokésona of the moderator and author of the blog, fiaKaiera.

Mocha is the first mod character, first Progressive Circle student and student overall introduced in the blog.

Kaiera is a simple Emolga who works on as the web administrator and leads the Kalos Miare College High blog. Normally, he is a easy-going mellow going Pokémon that has too much free time. He is quite friendly and is willing to talk with when needed. He will also tries to listen to problems and tries to help them when he can.

He favors the arts and multimedia so much that he delves in the digital arts, creating cute artwork for everyone to see. He could also be interested with Battle Studies as he is seen around with Priscus to learn more on Pokémon Battles.

Kaiera can be seen casually walking around the campus at times, interacting with different students and/or faculty members. People say that he has the ability opt-in and out of classes. To make up for it not going to classes, he spends his time doing something to keep him busy as well as being productive at the same time.

Mod rules are self-imposed rules so that characters remain as intended even with the influence of Mocha. The rules are listed as follows:

1. They are allowed to love but not have a deep relationship with another character that is not Lauren.
2. They are not allowed to have a platonic or romantic involvement by another muse. This statement must coincide with the first rule.
3. They must maintain single throughout the blog. As such, this must coincide with the first and second rule.
4. They are allowed to change their Pokémon species or variation at any point in time, but must be reflected during a storyline.
5. They cannot die throughout the blog's lifetime. If this rule is broken, the blog ends abruptly with no sign of it existing after a duration of 1 week after they are killed.
6. They can act like any other character, as long as it does not conflict with the rules above.
7. As such, all of the rules are tentative and subject to change in the future.

• Mocha can't seem to or fails to remember if he was human at all or not.
• Mocha avoids saying direct swear words at all costs as moral code. Most of the time, he exchanges all of them with a variation, a roundabout British way of swearing, or replacing it with the word “fluff”.
  • If he does, then he will say sorry immediately afterward following a sense of embarrassment.
  • This is made more apparent where there's no instance of it happening in the blog at all.
• There's probably something wrong with him.

• Lauren Beauchêne: Mocha's mother. They spend time together at night. He seems to deeply care about and relies on her a lot though he is independent on his own.
• Kalos Miare Faculty: Lauren introduced Mocha to everyone and tells them to treat him with respect and like a normal student despite his free roaming privileges. Mocha has become a favorite to some of the faculty members because of his usefulness outside classes.
  • Priscus Pollux: Mocha's trainer and teacher during Battle Studies. He can be commonly seen with him traning his moves in battle and how he can go further with it.
• Progressive Circle: (Aisa, Jaime, Thines & Clément)
  Mocha's circle of friends, everyone except Aisa is part of the game development group, which Aisa commonly visits them.
  • Aisa Asbat: To Aisa, Mocha is her digital arts mentor. Aisa and Mocha commonly hangs out during orchestra and free time talking about digital arts among other things.

• Mocha is the only character in Ask PokéProfs to be named after a drink.
  • It is also the mod's favourite blend of coffee.
• Mocha is just one of many characters that has existed before the current iteration of Ask PokéProfs.
  • Coincidentally, he is also the first mod and student to be introduced there as well. Both in general and in #TodaysWeather.
• The whole Ask PokéProfs staff are oblivious that the whole blog set up by Mocha is just Tumblr, which actually doesn't exist in the blog universe itself.
