The first part of the identity section inside the [[species:Typyl]] profile both shows what they are physically and the rest showing their alignment according to the stars.

This part of the guide covers four sections: **Physique** , **Hatchday**, **Astrological Sign** and **Arcana**.

===== Physique =====

The **physique** or the **physical characteristics** of the body defines what is an individual's **physical** [[wp>biological sex]], which is determined through the individual's biological and physical traits.

Physique is determined upon birth or [[culture:antecedence|antecedence]]. For Typyl, this can be changed through the process of [[culture:type-casting|type-casting]]. In Typyl culture, their "gender" don't have to match to their physique.

For Furria, the term **Hatchday** is synonymous to the word Birthday. It is the day and occasion that the individual annually celebrates the day of their birth. Like Birthdays, Hatchdays are often associated with celebration, possibly including the giving of gifts to the one celebrating their own hatchday, or a rite of passage.

In the world of Furria, each month is different and has a fixed number of days. The world also contains an extra month, Unocea, which makes it 13 months.

The **Astrological Sign** refers to the individual's alignment to a specific constellation dependent of their hatchday. Like Furria's months, Furria has 13 different astrological signs but they do not particularly align to one month.

The **Major Arcana**, or in simple terms **Arcana** of a Typyl represents the character's symbolism based on a person's different aspects of life, which is represented differently by a card from the 22-card Tarot deck of the [[wp>major arcana|Major Arcana]].

An individual's arcana is based on several different factors, such as their current situation in life and interactions with other individuals. Reversed cards are not allowed on the Typyl's profile, but the upright versions can be used to represent their reverse.
