Having the mindset of an engineer, Chino acts as quickly and effectively as possible. He is invigorated to persistently progress in his abilities, seizing every opportunity to copy and learn from those around him. Such grand goals bring a grand ego—he tends to put down those around him who aspire towards anything less.

Although he constantly boasts his superiority, Chino is a very nervous and unconfident typyl. He constantly shows signs of fearing if he does the right thing. He accepts failure with grave sorrow and embarrassment, apologizing for the most minor of offenses. Whenever he believes he has lost course towards his goals, he tends to cut off all contact with the outside world.

Overall, acting as a mediator, he remains loyal to his friends. He is trusted by many with their opinions and secrets. In an argument, he keeps a steady head, accepting others’ beliefs with gratitude amidst expressing his own. Sometimes he may attempt to bring friends together after a fight. His greatest fear is invoking a fight on his own accord—the action which had brought about his death on Earth.

Chino’s battles are a test of pass or fail. As the first impression is always the most important, he aims for no less than a one hit knock out. Failing to do so results in putting up a struggling defense for the rest of the battle in order to study the opponent’s moves.

Casually, Chino moves conversations forwards with as many jokes as possible, falling flat 90% of the time. He keeps pointless grudges towards certain actions, people, or his most fearsome enemy, fruit.

Before human transferrance, Chino was a student who dreamt that, with a little hard work, he could do anything and everything. Over years of chaotic family matters, he had developed a strong grasp of moral duty. Yet the will to impose this duty sparked a fight with his father on the road. Losing total control over himself, Chino’s clamor resulted in a tragic car accident.

With the argument still playing through his head, he awoke alone inside of a crystal, with a TV and a bed. Outraged, believing to have done nothing wrong, he wished—or moreover, demanded—for a second chance right off the bat. Frustrated, he wailed on the bed in tears and slowly drifted to sleep.

When he woke up, he found himself in his familiar World History classroom. He stormed out the door. Next thing he knew, he found himself a typyl on the streets outside Patiencia.

Rio Otun is his training partner and rival. They met one day in the training area, Astounded by his abilities as a newcomer, he competes with him to improve his own skills as much as possible.

As a duo, they are not a team to mess with. With Chino’s physical power and Rio’s magical support, they are to take down the toughest of their foes.
