Sylv

Sylv is the unified trading currency in the world of Furria. Outside of trading, Sylv can be spent as a casting medium to amplify the effects of sorcia.

The shortname used in Sylv is denoted as yl.

Sylv are composed of small chunks Aspect crystals compressed into coins through the use of Sorcia.

Sylvtaps can be found throughout Furria should one choose to convert aspect crystals and gems into coins. The coins themselves cannot be duplicated or fraud thanks to its composition. A 25% fee is required to those who are willing to convert their crystals into coins.

Sylv also has a lifespan of 1 month before suddenly dispersing into its raw aspect form, dispersing outside a user's magic storage should it remain there. Sylv can be sent to a sylvtrack found in several landmarks should they want to store their value before dispersal.

The value of each Sylv coin can be dependent on what aspect they contain. The higher the value of the aspect, the rarer and harder its corresponding aspect's crystal can be found and obtained.

A somewhat safer way of obtaining Sylv is to imbue an existing Aspect gem into a Millennial Puzzle but will still be difficult to obtain if the aspect's rarity is high.
